Barcelona Bangers 4th September 2008
Barcelona BangersOver the weekend of 19 and 20 July four intrepid enterprising adventurers took part in a "banger" race from Calais to Barcelona via the French Alps, raising sponsorship money for Age Concern Leicester Shire & Rutland. About £1000 was raised, an amount that will increase when the "banger" is sold, also for the charity's benefit. All are now safely returned. We would like to express our thanks to Vicky Cliff (Senior Volunteer Support Officer at De Montfort University) and her team, the sponsors and Audi Leicester who donated the car.
